Interloan Service
Requested items at least six (6) months old are interloaned from another library.
- Available to Fox Lake District Library card holders in good standing.
- Reciprocal Borrowers must place requests through their home library.
- A patron may have up to five (5) requests in process at one time.
Interloan Periods, Fines & Renewals Policy:
- Loan Period: Varies by lending library requirements
- Renewal: Granted at the lending library's discretion
- Overdue Fine: $0.10 per day
- Format Limits: Five (5) Interloans in process at one time per card
Item Request
Requested items released within the past six (6) months are considered potential additions to the collection.
- There is no guarantee that the library will purchase a requested title.
- If purchased, you are placed in the Hold Queue for the title and notified via email and phone when the item is available for pick up.
