Museum Adventure Pass
The Museum Adventure Pass offers Fox Lake District Library cardholders free admission or special discounts at participating Chicago-area cultural destinations! Each family can check out one pass every 7 days using their Fox Lake District Library card.
To get a pass, visit the Library with your Fox Lake District Library card and stop by the Youth Services desk to choose a pass. Pass availability is limited, so check the Museum Adventure Pass website for current offerings before your visit.

Explore More Illinois provides Fox Lake District Library cardholders free and discounted admission to museums, park districts, historical societies, performing and visual arts centers, and other attractions throughout Illinois.
Visit the Explore More Illinois website, log in with your Fox Lake District Library card, and browse passes by date or attraction. Once you've made your reservation, print or download your pass before your visit.

Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County
Admits: The MAP pass can be redeemed for two general admission tickets. Children 3 yrs. and under are always FREE.
Brookfield Zoo
Admits: 2 Passes. Valid for Brookfield Zoo only and does not include parking or admission to any internal exhibits or attractions, such as Dolphin Show, Butterflies!, Children's Zoo, Temporary exhibits, Motor Safari, etc.
Chicago Botanic Garden
Admits: The Museum Adventure Pass allows a family of four general admission during regular public hours. Group must include at least one child under 18; maximum of two adults admitted with this pass. Parking for one vehicle per pass is included.
Illinois Railway Museum
Admits: 2 free passes with the purchase of 2, or 1 free pass with the purchase of 1. Not Valid on Bunny Trolley Hop, Day Out with Thomas or Happy Holiday Railway.
Volo Museum
Admits: 50% off of admission per pass, for up to six persons of any age to the world famous Volo Museum's 45 exhibits and 10,000 mechanical marvels. Jurassic Gardens and Titanic Museum are not included.
