Library of Things

The Fox Lake District Library offers a collection of non-traditional items, known as the Library of Things (LoT), to provide educational, cultural, practical, and recreational materials for community members.

Fox Lake Library community members can borrow LoT items with a library card. The library offer items like tools, kitchen appliances, craft supplies, technology, and recreational equipment, to reduce waste and provide access to items used infrequently. They serve as a way to access goods without the commitment of purchasing them.
