The library will send written notices to library patrons in order to recover overdue materials.
Following the final written notice, the library privileges of delinquent patrons will be cancelled pending return or payment for all overdue items and fines. Legal remedies may also be sought by the library district for the recovery of delinquencies.
In the case of the delinquency of a juvenile library card holder, the library privileges of the adult who signed the permission statement for the juvenile library card holder will also be cancelled.
Library privileges that have been cancelled will be restored to individuals responsible for library material(s) delinquencies only when the material(s) have been returned or paid for, and all overdue fines paid.
