Free Meals for Kids at Fox Lake District Library
We are committed to supporting the health and well-being of children in our community. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to offer free, nutritious meals for kids year-round.
Through the USDA’s Child Nutrition Programs, we provide:
After School Snacks (September–May) – Free, healthy snacks served to children during the school year to keep them fueled for learning and play.
Summer Meals (June–August) – Nutritious, free meals available to all children during the summer months to ensure kids have access to healthy food while school is out.
These programs are available at no cost to families and are designed to help ensure that every child in our community has access to nutritious meals, no matter the season.
Whether you’re stopping by after school or visiting the library during the summer, we invite school-aged youth to participate in these free meal programs.
