Lake Library Building News
The
Fox Lake District Library building bond referendum was approved by
the voters of the library district at the consolidated primary
election of February 5, 2008.
The
library is now proceeding with a full design for the building that
was presented to the public as a conceptual design prior to the
referendum. Burnidge Cassell Associates of Elgin, Illinois, are the
architects for the project. The
current estimate is that construction of the project will begin in
January of 2009. The library will operate in its current facility
during construction.
It is expected that the new library building
will be finished in the summer of 2010.
